No Pattern Dress

I have been focusing so much on my own shirts lately that I started to feel bad for not making anything for the kids. ;) This week I sat down with an idea of a dress and some fabric and just started cutting. I'm sure that the more comfortable I get with making patterns and drawing them out I will start to do that more. But, I'm not there yet. So I just decided to start cutting the fabric with my idea of what I wanted it to look like. Ha.

I am pretty happy with how it turned out....but I do need to learn a better way of "finishing" it. Like, with the bias tape on the arm holes and making those look better and such. I'm sure that will come with time and practice. Over all I am happy, and Riley of course loves anything new. It was a success. :)

One more thing....thank you ALL SO much for reading my little blog.

I will be linking to these parties.

Have A Wonderful Day!!

  1. Awww, it's adorable! I think you did an awesome job. And, especially for not having a pattern. That's great.
