Homemade Biscuits

There is nothing better than homemade biscuits for breakfast.  I love them, but have never learned how to make them.  Until this past weekend. :)  Here is the run down!

1. Take milk (if you are out like we were, you can make your own milk to use.)  I couldn't even tell a difference.

2. Flower your mat so that the mix doesn't stick.

3. Mix in flour with milk to make the batter.  (It should have about the same consistency of pizza dough when mixed up correctly.)

 4. Pat out the batter and flatten to desired height. (It will rise a little while cutting them and waiting to put them in the oven.

5. We used a cup to cut out the size.  You can really use anything that is the size you want.

 6. Place in pan, or in storage container to freeze for later. ;)  If putting in pan to bake, put a little olive oil on the tops of the biscuits.  Not sure why, it's just the way my mother was taught. lol

7. Bake at 425* till they are brown on top and done.

They were so delish. Mmmm.

I will be linking to these parties.
Have A Wonderful Day!!
