Hair Pretty

I've been trying to get more creative with my hair.  I have always kept short hair, but have always envied people with long beautiful hair.  I've decided it is time to grow mine out and see if I can have long beautiful hair.  Problem is, since it's been growing out, all I have been doing is pulling it up in a pony tail.  Blah. 

In an effort to keep from chopping my hair off again, I am going to start making some cute hair pretties. ;)

This is what I used:
Elastic
"alligator" foe leather wrap
two rolled flowers

Cut the wrap to measure your head and hot glue a piece of elastic folding the sides down....like below.

 Hot glue your flowers wherever you want them and your done.

Here it is on my nappy head.  I made this at night, after the kiddies went to bed, so please forgive the photo shot.  But I do think it's cute!  I can't wait to actually wear it for real, out.
