Mommy and Me Creations
When Christy asked me to guest speak on her blog, I was ecstatic! I have been such a huge fan of hers for a long while now! You would be shocked to know that this is my first time guest speaking, but it's the truth. I am always featuring others, and their work. This is definitely something totally new for me. So please just bare with me! I'm a little bit nervous! ;)

When I think of Christmas, I think of Family Traditions. I love Family Traditions. So today, I thought I would share one of mine with you. Since I was a little girl, my mom always made "Rainbow Salad" for the annual Family Christmas Party! Not only is it a huge tradition, but it's so good and everyone LOVES it!!!! (** Even the picky eaters... shh, that was supposed to be a secret!)

Jacque did use a picture that she had found through a google search, Simply Simmer.  It looks delish doesn't it?  I have emailed the original source to make her aware of the situation, and will update upon hearing back from her.

Things You'll Need:

- 1 (3 oz size) Jello Packs for each of following flavors: Lemon, Lime, Orange, Strawberry, Black Cherry, Blueberry, & Grape
-3 1/2 cups Plain Yogurt
What You'll Do:

Mix your 1st package of Jello with 1 cup of boiling water. Divide your jello into two equal part. To the 1st part, add 2 Tablespoons cold water; then pour into a 13"x9" pan and place in the refrigerator to set for one half hour (make sure to set your timer). To the 2nd part, add 1/2 cup cold yogurt and whip well. Gently pour over the set 1st layer, and tilt until it evenly covers. Let set in the refrigerator again for another half hour. Repeat with each flavor of Jello. As you can tell this whole process takes 7 hours from start to finish. After you finished the 7 hour process, you'll want to let the entire thing set over night before serving. Doing so will help the layers connect together much better! After the night is over, you will then cut squares of your jello to serve. You can choose to either serve by itself or you could add lettuce pieces and/or cool whip with sprinkles to make it look pretty. It's up to you. Have fun and get creative with it!

The best part of all is, you can involve your kids in the kitchen with this one!! They will love helping you out with mixing the colors into the water!!! It's so fun!

Thanks Christy for having me over for a visit!!! I really appreciate it. If you guys decide to use my recipe, please stop by and let me know how it went. I love to hear from you! Thanks again!

Thanks so much for coming, Jacque!  I have been wondering lately how to make these jello's and now my kids will LOVE it too!!  ;)
